Academic Year 23-24
While some requirements have eased recently, COVID-19 is still with us and 电竞竞猜平台 will continue to take the steps necessary to align with Johnson County, Kansas recommendations and for the community’s good health.
CampusClear App Required On Campus
- #CampusClear is a health tool required for students and employees at 电竞竞猜平台. Based on your answers, it helps you determine next steps if you’re under the weather or gives you an “all clear” for campus activities and classes. It can be downloaded at: http://www.apple.com/app-store/ and http://play.google.com/store/apps.
- 电竞竞猜平台’s COVID Coordinator will continue to provide assistance to students and employees. You may contact the COVID Coordinator at 913-971-3545.
Have you completed the vaccine?
COVID-19 vaccines are readily available in our area. Completion of both doses (depending on the type of vaccine) could have great benefits for living, learning and/or working at 电竞竞猜平台.
In accordance with county guidelines, fully vaccinated individuals will not have to quarantine, as long as they do not have symptoms, if they come in contact with an individual who tests positive for COVID-19.
Having your vaccination records on file with the university will help streamline contact tracing and will keep you from having to isolate while you locate records and provide them to the university. Watch your email for information about how to submit your records on our secure, HIPPA-compliant link.
What does all this mean?
- 电竞竞猜平台 is not requiring vaccination. However, being vaccinated may be to your advantage for a variety of reasons, and it will keep the number of cases on campus down, resulting in fewer disruptions to classes, athletic events and other campus activities
- There are many free options to receive vaccinations at any time in most areas of the country.
- You are encouraged to submit your proof of vaccination to 电竞竞猜平台. A secure means to do so will be distributed soon.
- Contact tracing will occur when there is a reported COVID-19 case.
- Should you need to quarantine or isolate, you are asked to do so at your home (if you live within 300 miles of 电竞竞猜平台). Cases of hardship in traveling home will be accommodated as space is available. Please have a plan in place prior to the start of the semester should you need to quarantine or isolate.
- Absences from classes due to COVID-19 will be treated the same as any illness one may contract. Students missing class due to COVID-19 should work directly with their professors to access course content and make-up work.

Travel, Events, Chapel & Activities
Travel
As we seek to minimize the spread of COVID-19, we are asking all community members to do their part in helping stem the tide of the pandemic. Depending on prevailing guidance at the time, residential students may be asked to self-certify their compliance with state, federal, and local guidance around travel if they leave the state.
Commuters and other off-campus students are welcome on campus and must follow the same protocol as residential students.
The state of Kansas maintains a list of locations from which it requires quarantine when returning to Kansas. The list is available at http://www.coronavirus.kdheks.gov/175/Travel-Exposure-Related-Isolation-Quaran.

All 电竞竞猜平台 events (clubs, ASG, Chapel, Intramural sports, etc.) resume this academic year. All individuals in attendance should abide by the protocol set forth in this guide.
